Are the cabins on the river?
No, some national parks have lodging within the park's boundaries; however, this one does not. So while our cabins aren't located right on the river, no one puts you closer than we do. Our property borders the National Park Service. Talk about convenient.
Are there nearby grocery stores and restaurants?
Our cabins are located between Low Gap and Ponca. The general stores at Low Gap & Ponca provide visitors with friendly service and most of your necessities. In nearby Jasper (12 miles east) you can find restaurants & larger grocery stores.
What should we bring for grilling food?
Your cabins comes with a standard charcoal grill, all you need to bring is your favorite charcoal and lighter fluid.
What does "Fully Furnished Kitchen" include?
We don't want you to have the chore of packing the kitchen sink when you are our guest. We furnish your cabin's kitchen with all the standard appliances and cookware you'll need to prepare and serve good meals while you are staying with us. Kitchen amenities include:

If your recipes call for special equipment, such as food processor, blender or electric mixer, you will want to bring those items with you.
Do I need to bring bed linens?
Top quality bed linens are included in each cabin. If you have a favorite blanket or pillow feel free to bring it along.
What about firewood?
The fireplace is gas burning, so all you have to do is flip a switch to enjoy a romantic evening in front of the fire. We also provide central heat and air conditioning for your comfort.
You can buy firewood for the outdoor campfire pit, it is $5 per bundle. We can have it delivered to the cabin upon request.
What is the best time to visit?
One of the many advantages to living and visiting here is that we enjoy all four seasons. There are many things to do here all year long. No matter what type of getaway you are seeking you will be able to come here and enjoy!
